*Price listed is based on an estimate of domestic airfare from London to Monterey during January/February 2010 with departure on Wednesday and return on the following Monday. Double occupancy is required. Actual airline and hotel costs may fluctuate depending on date of booking and local conditions. Your total package price will be confirmed with you prior to ordering travel documents and booking reservations. Intermediate class rental car is picked up at airport upon arrival and dropped off at departure.

By Far the best season for traveling to Monterey is around Christmas and New Years. The weather is typically mild and sunny, and water clarity is at it's annual best. This is the perfect time for divers to take advantage of calmer, clearer conditions in and around the peninsula. Monterey is relatively quiet during this time of year and hotel prices are at their seasonal low.

We are excited to offer you this special dive travel package only available during January & February.This is an all-inclusive 5-night getaway with 2 days of guided shore and boat diving complete with scuba gear.

Our service begins mid-week with your arrival and a fun orientation & welcome lunch (or dinner) with our staff. Your diving schedule and itinerary are covered, equipment requirements verified, and related paperwork is completed. Friday is typically reserved for shore diving and boat diving is conducted on weekends either Saturday or Sunday. We can also advise you on local attractions, restaurants, and nightlife options. On scheduled diving days, we meet you at the site or dock with necessary equipment. Even if you have your own gear, tanks and weight are included.

If you really want to be pampered you can upgrade to one of Monterey's luxury resorts for a very reasonable cost. The Clement, Monterey Plaza Hotel and Monterey Bay Inn are but a few choices. If accommodations are not a priority and you just need a place to sleep and shower in between the action, you can save by choosing our economy hotel option.

This travel package includes over $1,200 USD worth of hosted shore and boat diving services from Monterey Bay Dive Charters. The first day of diving includes 2 guided shore dives at San Carlos Beach - Monterey's most-popular dive site. Here you can see a menagerie of local invertebrate life as well as the chance for sea lion and harbor seal encounters. On your second dive day get ready for some world class California diving as we take you for a guided two-tank boat tour on one of Monterey's local dive boats.

You also get your choice of tickets for the world-famous Monterey Bay Aquarium or an outting on one of Monterey's Whale Watching tour operators.
